Hi Everyone.

Summer is officially here. The temperature may be rising but the rates have not.

Rates and Housing

Although the Federal Reserve did not lower the federal fund rate, they did set the stage that it could go down.

We are starting to see trends change and an increase of inventory is coming into the market. With mortgage interest rates at a 2 year low, many people are cashing in on their equity. They are using those funds to pay off higher interest rate debt or remodel their existing home. Others are entering the market with more home options and lower rates than this time last year. Some have even refinanced just for the lower monthly payment.

If you are in the market, own a home or know someone who could benefit from a lower interest rate; give me a call or send me an email. I’d love to help you lower your payments or get you into your dream home.

As always, thank you for your business and stay cool this summer.
