Privacy policy
The short version: we collect what you give us, we use it to help with your loan, we do not sell it, and you can request access, correction, or deletion subject to legal record-retention duties.
Last updated September 2026. Applies to chrislamm.ai and its subdomains.
What we collect
Two kinds of data. First, information you submit on purpose: name, email, phone, state, and your answers in a quiz or the get-your-rate flow. Second, routine technical data in hosting and security logs, such as request time, browser type, referring page and IP address.
Analytics and advertising tools we use
We use Google Tag Manager to load a small set of measurement tools: Google Analytics 4 for site analytics, the Meta pixel, and the Google Ads tag. They tell us which pages and campaigns lead to real inquiries, such as a form submission, a phone call tap, or a click through to the secure application. We use that information to run this site and our advertising; Google and Meta process it under their own privacy terms as our service providers and ad platforms.
We also set one first-party attribution cookie of our own. When you arrive from an ad or a campaign link, it records the campaign identifiers in the URL (for example gclid, fbclid, and utm values), the referring site, the page you landed on, and the date of that first visit. It lives for 90 days, stays on this site only, and is read only when you submit a form, so we know which campaign to credit. It does not contain your name, email, or phone number.
The hosting platform may additionally retain routine request and performance logs needed to operate and secure the site. The site is not designed to identify an anonymous visitor by name, email, or household.
Where your lead data goes
When you complete a form or quiz, the submission is processed and retained by our hosting provider, Netlify, and an email containing the information is sent to an authorized MortgageOne team mailbox for follow-up. We do not send incomplete guided-assessment answers. Access is limited to authorized personnel and service providers with an operational need. If delivery is unavailable, the form reports that the request was not confirmed as sent. If your inquiry becomes a loan application, the application itself moves to MortgageOne's loan-origination systems and their applicable privacy and security controls.
Text messages and TCPA consent
We only send you text messages if you give us express written consent by checking the SMS consent box on a form. That box is never pre-checked. When you check it, we log the exact consent text you saw, along with a timestamp, so there is a clear record of what you agreed to. You can opt out any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of getting a loan or any service.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only with service providers who help us operate (hosting, form delivery, email, analytics, and advertising measurement), and only for that purpose.
Cookies
- Essential. The hosting or security platform may use limited technical storage needed to deliver and protect the site.
- Attribution. Our own first-party cookie described above, kept for 90 days, used only to credit the campaign that brought you here.
- Analytics and advertising. Google Analytics 4, the Meta pixel, and the Google Ads tag may set their own cookies or identifiers when they load, used for measurement and ad reporting as described above.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; the site works without them. We do not sell your information, and we do not use these tools to build profiles for anyone else's marketing.
Financial privacy (GLBA)
If you become a mortgage applicant, federal law gives you additional protections. The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act governs how nonpublic personal financial information is handled, and you will receive the formal GLBA privacy notice from MortgageOne Inc. as part of your application package. That notice controls for application data; this page covers the website.
Your choices and requests
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are legally required to keep. Email clamm@gomortgageone.com or call (530) 282-1166. Requests are reviewed and handled subject to identity verification and any legal record-retention duties.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top. We will not quietly weaken the commitments above.
